09:00 – 09:30 Meeting at Tbilisi city centre. Drive to Natakhtari Airdrome. 10:00 – 11:00 Flight to Shatili. Arrival. 11:00 – 13:00 Excursion. Walk in Shatili. 13:00 – 14:00 Picnic lunch in Shatili. 14:00 – 15:00 Flight to Mutso & Ardoti. (optional) 15:00 – 18:00 Excursion in Mutso & Ardoti. (optional) 18:00 – 19:00 Flight back to Natakhtari. 19:00 – 19:30 Arrival in Natakhtari. Drive to Tbilisi. Detailed Description of the Tour: Early in the morning we meet at the Tbilisi city centre and drive to Natakhtari Airdrome to take a flight (app. 1h.) towards Khevsureti Region, village Shatili. Fortified village Shatili is 1400m above sea level and from the 9th Century still stands as a symbol of Georgia’s independence and resilience. Old Shatili is a unique example of Georgian stone mason’s art, a group of old shale tower dwellings built on a cliff. After excursion and lunch in Shatili we fly to nearby fortress type village Mutso and Ardoti. Excursion in Mutso and Ardoti. (optional, if time permits) In the second half of the day we will fly back to Natakhtari Airdrome and drive to Tbilisi city centre. End of the tour. Price includes: - Flight from Natakhtari Airdrome to Shatili, Mutso and back on a comfortable Helicopter (MI8).
