Weather

China is a vast country with wide-ranging climatic conditions, so a decision about the best time to visit should be based on the regions you plan to tour. June to August is a good time to visit central and northern China, whilst spring and autumn are the best months for travel in Southern China. Generally, summer is very warm and humid, with winter in the north bitterly cold. The southern region and coastal areas have a milder climate than inland and the north.
