DAY 2 - BUENOS AIRES Breakfast. In the morning panoramic city view. This tour gives you the emotion of a multiple Buenos Aires. We will see the symbol of our city: the obelisk. We will visit different squares such as Plaza de Mayo, Plaza San Martín, Plaza Congreso. Avenues like Corrientes, Mayo, 9 de Julio, among others. Historical neighborhoods: La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat. Elegant neighborhoods such as Palermo and Recoleta, and the most modern: Puerto Madero. Parks such as Lezama and Tres de Febrero. We will also visit financial and commercial areas and a Soccer Stadium. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, experience one of the true highlights of your tour, a Dinner & Tango Show. The Tango was born in Argentina, and a visit to one of the tango show houses features the best artist and dancers accompanied by traditional Argentine cuisine. Accommodation. DAY 5 - MONTEVIDEO Breakfast. morning city tour of Montevideo, visiting the Old City, Independence and Constitution Squares, The Artigas Monument, The Congress Building, the rose garden of El Prado. Continue to the Obelisk and the famous La Carreta (covered wagon) monument. You will also visit the residential areas and return to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure. DAY 6 - MONTEVIDEO / SANTIAGO DE CHILE Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Santiago de Chile (flight not included). Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Breakfast. Today you will embark on a half-day tour of the city. Santiago is a city of contracts with traditional areas, a civic center and a modern district. The tour includes such highlights as the Club Hipico, a beautiful horse racing track, Cousino Palace, the “La Moneda” government palace, the Pre-Columbian Art Museum, and The Plaza de Armas. Return to your hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation. DAY 8 - SANTIAGO DE CHILE Breakfast. Day at leisure. Accommodation. DAY 9 - SANTIAGO DE CHILE / LIMA
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima (flight not included). Arrival and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit to the city, we will stroll around the main streets, squares and avenues. We will go to the Main square where we will have a view of the Presidential and Municipal Palaces. We will visit the Lima’s Cathedral in which lies the tomb of the Spanish conqueror Francisco Pizarro, and the museum of Religious Art. We will continue our way for the residential districts of San Isidro and Miraflores until a viewpoint where we will have a spectacular view of the beaches of the Pacific Ocean. Accommodation. DAY 10 - LIMA / CUSCO Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco (flight not included). Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Welcome gathering with “coca tea” that will help our travelers to get used to the local weather. Rest of the morning at leisure. In the afternoon, we will visit the imperial city; we will go into the Cathedral where you will enjoy the view of beautiful woodwork and colonial paintings containing extensive Inca iconography. Then, we will visit the Korikancha, “the Temple of the Sun” where the Convent of Santo Domingo was built; the legend says this temple was completely laminated in gold, which impressed the conquerors at their arrival. Then we will go to the Artisans’ Quarters of San Blas and visit the church to see the pulpit with its impressive carved woodwork. It is time to do some shopping at the most famous artisans’ market in the city. Accommodation. DAY 11 - CUSCO
Breakfast. During the morning, we will ascend to the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman and will visit Q'enqo, the old temple of the Puma where you can see a sacrifice altar inside a huge stone; Tambomachay, Sacred fountains of life and health; Puca Pucará, “atalaya” (watchtower) safeguarding the city gates and the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, beautiful place that radiates peace and tranquillity, we will enjoy the view of huge stones reaching 4 mts. high which were used in its construction. Afternoon at leisure to visit the other historical places in Cusco. Accommodation. DAY 12 - CUSCO / MACHU PICCHU Breakfast and transfer to the station to get aboard the train to the citadel of "Machu Picchu", the Sacred City, considered as the New Spiritual Center of the World. We will go through the corridors, visiting the ceremonial centers and terraces. Buffet lunch. Overnight at the hotel Orient Express Sanctuary Lodge, located at the top of the mountain or at the hotel in the town of Aguas Calientes in accordance with the selected category. Accommodation. DAY 13 - MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Breakfast. Day at leisure. Time to have a new visit to the citadel to meditate and absorb the energies flowing in such a sacred place, having the opportunity to climb the Intipunku mountain, entrance to Machu Picchu from Inca Trail, or the Huayna Picchu mountain, where the temple of the Moon is located. We recommend to visit too the local Museum near to the town of Aguas Calientes. In the afternoon we will return to Cusco by train. Accommodation. DAY 14 - CUSCO / LIMA Breakfast.
