On July 19th 2009 In Tusheti, village Omalo new Visitors center and administrative building of Tusheti Protected Areas was opened. The guests of the event were: President of Georgia Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili, Minister of Environment Protection and Natural Resources Mr. George Khachidze, Ambassador of the United States of America in Georgia Mr. John Tefft and other representatives of diplomatic body.

On 5-8th June 2009 was held a press tour for foreign and local journalists.

The tour was organized and implemented by joint efforts of the International Tour Operator “Vanilla Sky” and Department of Tourism and Resorts of Georgia.

Avia-Taxi was established in the summer of 2004 at Natahtari airdrome and has since been very efficient air commuter service flying throughout Georgia. These charters are serviced with VIP Hellicopter Agusta 109E,  the exceptional Cessna aircraft (Cessna 172 and 182) and a helicopter MI8.
