Weather

October to March is generally the driest and most pleasant time to visit, when the weather is normally dry, sunny and not exclusively hot (nights can be quite chilly). Cairo however, can be surprisingly cool in December and January. Temperatures begin to rise between April and May, but are still reasonably comfortable, except perhaps during the middle of the day. June to September is the hottest period when the heat is normally dry and humidity is low.
