Bakuriani
Bakuriani is one of the most beautiful winter resorts in the world. Extensive sunshine, high mountainous climate, average snowfall, 12 ski tracks of different difficulty, spectacular views, the renowned Georgian cuisine, and family atmosphere – all of this makes the winter spent here unforgettable!
Bakuriani is situated on the northern slope of the Trialeti Range in the Borjomi Valley, at the altitude of 1,700 m. Vacationing in Bakuriani is rewarding and interesting place for a vacation during all seasons due to: wood-covered mountains, mineral water springs, cultural monuments of the Borjomi Valley.
Kokhtagora
Ski- tracks from average to difficult level are located here (two black and one red), which descend from the peak to the right and to the left. All three join at the middle platform of the cable-way (at the altitude of 1895.2 m).
If you come down to the middle platform of the Kokhtagora cable-way, you will find yourself on the Kokhta Plateau, an easy (blue) section of the ski-track, where beginners and amateurs ski.
Kokhtagora is served by a two-seat cable-way and 2 tow-ways (so-called Bugel). The Bugels are located in parallel to the chair cable-way, alongside the easy section of the Kokhtagora track to the right and to the left.
Didveli
So far only two cable-ways operate on Didveli (construction of some more is planned). First, a gondola ski-lift, will take you to a slope of Mount Sakvelo, where ski tracks of easy and medium difficulty begin. Their length equals to 3,800 m. At the upper station of the gondola ski-lift, the lower station of a chairlift is located. This lift takes visitors to the top of a much difficult, very steep ski track, almost near the peak of Mount Sakvelo. The lower ski-track is divided in 20-100 meters into three tracks: one easy and two of average difficulty. The Caucasus Mountain Range with white and rocky summits could be seen in a clear sky from the upper stations and ski-tracks of Didveli.“Sandwich-bar” functions at the lower station of the cable-way.
