Gudauri

Every year Gudauri hosts international and national ski races and fun competitions. Unique geological terrain and climatic condition makes Gudauri Mountains’ slopes the best for both grooming run and deep snow "all-around" skiing. Total length of groomed ski runs is over 20km. The slopes are suitable for skiers of any experience starting from beginners (blue) and ending with experts (black). Gudauri offers the skiers unlimited "all-around skiing" opportunities from early winter to late spring season. All the runs are approved by FIS.

 

Even in a year scarce of snow, Gudauri has a guaranteed snow cover starting November till May. Snow cover is 1.5 meters at average on the slopes. Being a highland resort Gudauri still is known for its warm, sunny and still days.

There are five (3 and 4 sits) comfortable ski chair lifts constructed by Austrian company Doppelmayer. The low station of the first ski-lift is located just behind hotel Gudauri at an altitude of 2000m. Ski lifts stations are between the altitude 2000m – 3250m.

The hotel Gudauri is an international 4 star hotel fully equipped with conference and recreation facilities. Key amenities include: restaurant, "snack-bar", chimney bar, nightclub, recreation area, 2 in-door tennis courts, swimming pool with sauna, conference hall and 4 meeting rooms, shopping area, ski rent, ski service workshop and first aid centre.The hotel has 122 rooms out of which 78 are large accommodations (suite, junior suite, deluxe) and 44 double standard rooms.
